A nexus of strange events and information\u00a0regarding\u00a0Antarctica, including\u00a0predictions\u00a0by Clif High, suggest that some type\u00a0of disclosure may indeed be on the horizon. \u00a0<\/strong>However, will this be a controlled disclosure?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Is there anything quite\u00a0as fascinating as the idea\u00a0of a lost civilization buried beneath the polar ice of Antarctica? It stirs the imagination. Indeed, the lost civilization of Antarctica has been the focus of many a tale.<\/p>\n

Cult-horror author,\u00a0H. P. Lovecraft<\/a>, wrote a novella, At The Mountains of Madness<\/em><\/a>, about\u00a0a disastrous expedition to the\u00a0Antarctic continent\u00a0in 1930,\u00a0which\u00a0discovered ancient alien ruins and a dangerous secret \u2013 part of his larger\u00a0Cthulhu Mythos.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cLovecraft had been fascinated with the Antarctic continent since he was at least 12 years old, when he had written several small treatises on early Antarctic explorers,\u201d biographer\u00a0S. T. Joshi<\/a>\u00a0wrote.[6]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

The Beginning:\u00a0Operation HighJump<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Richard E. Byrd<\/a>\u2018s first\u00a0expedition took place in 1928-1930, right\u00a0before the novella was written, and Lovecraft mentioned the explorer repeatedly in his letters, remarking at one point on \u201cgeologists of the Byrd expedition having found many fossils indicating a tropical past\u201d.[9]<\/a>\u00a0<\/sup>Lovecraft\u2019s\u00a0fictional expedition was modelled after Byrd\u2019s.[10]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

Between 1946 and 1947, Byrd and his team carried out a large-scale operation called \u201cHighJump\u201d<\/a>, during which he discovered and mapped 1,390,000 km\u00b2 of the Antarctic territory. This US Navy operation\u00a0included 4,700 men, 13 ships, and 33 aircraft. One piece of evidence\u00a0suggesting that the Earth is hollow is Admiral Byrd\u2019s alleged diary from 1947.<\/a><\/p>\n
