Trump (Video)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/players.brightcove.net\/4137224153001\/ed38fae1-4db1-4308-8095-399a04010bc1_default\/index.html?videoId=5858902364001\" width=\"618\" height=\"348\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Trump rails against \u2018rude\u2019 media in heated press conference<\/h2>\n<p>By Nikki Schwab and Bob Fredericks<br \/>\nNew York Post<\/p>\n<p>A combative President Trump on Wednesday got into an angry confrontation with reporters at a White House news conference Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>After CNN\u2019s Jim Acosta pressed him on why he characterized a caravan of a few thousand Central American asylum seekers hundreds of miles from the US border \u201can invasion,\u201d the president erupted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHonestly I think you should let me run the country, you run CNN and if you did it well, your ratings would be much higher,\u201d Trump said, adding \u201cThat\u2019s enough. That\u2019s enough. That\u2019s enough. Excuse me, that\u2019s enough,\u201d as Acosta tried to follow up.<\/p>\n<p>But the CNN anchor persisted, asking the president about special counsel Robert Mueller\u2019s Russia probe.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s enough. Put down the mic. I\u2019ll tell you what, CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them. You are a rude, terrible person. You shouldn\u2019t be working for CNN. You\u2019re a very rude person. The way you treat Sarah Huckabee is horrible. You shouldn\u2019t treat people that way,\u201d he said, referring to his spokeswoman, who frequently spars with reporters during press briefings.<\/p>\n<p>A White House aide tried to take the microphone from Acosta, but he wouldn\u2019t give it up, before finally relenting.<\/p>\n<p>When NBC\u2019s Peter Alexander defended Acosta, Trump replied: \u201cI\u2019m not a big fan of yours.
