On the morning of April 19, 1995, a decorated Gulf War combat vet blew up the federal building in Oklahoma City using a truck bomb that he\u00a0didn\u2019t build<\/a>\u00a0in a Ryder truck that he\u00a0didn\u2019t rent<\/a>\u00a0with the help of a passenger who\u00a0didn\u2019t exist<\/a>. Having just gotten away with the largest act of terrorism on U.S. soil to date the Fort Bragg-trained Special Forces (sheep dipped) \u201cdropout\u201d blended in with the crowd by making his getaway in a car without a license plate and was immediately pulled over.<\/p>\n The ATF was the supposed target of the attack, but luckily all of their agents were\u00a0out of the office<\/a>\u00a0that morning.<\/p>\n Later that day the president\u00a0boldly declared<\/a>\u00a0\u201cwe will find the people who did this\u201d and \u201cwhen we do, justice will be swift, certain and severe\u201d except for John Doe #2, who, according to the FBI, never existed.<\/p>\n In McVeigh\u2019s unprecedented three and a half week trial the prosecution didn\u2019t show the\u00a0CCTV footage of him<\/a>\u00a0(and John Doe #2) parking the Ryder truck, didn\u2019t explain why\u00a024 separate witnesses<\/a>\u00a0mass hallucinated the existence of John Doe #2, didn\u2019t explain why the government was\u00a0testing truck bombs<\/a>\u00a0and the army was\u00a0storing Ryder trucks at Camp Gruber<\/a>\u00a0right before the bombing, and didn\u2019t talk to the\u00a0FBI informants<\/a>\u00a0who blew the whistle on the plot, but they did\u00a0collaborate with the CIA<\/a>\u00a0and they did convict McVeigh as the lone wolf bomber and Terry Nichols as his bomb constructing accomplice.<\/p>\n Still, a bunch of crazy conspiracy theorists (including\u00a0300 bombing victims<\/a>) insist on talking about facts and evidence and refuse to simply believe what they\u2019ve been told a million times by people in tailored suits with well-coiffed hair.<\/p>\n They quote the\u00a0US Air Force Brigadier General<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0FBI crime lab whistleblower<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0inventor of the neutron bomb<\/a>\u00a0who point out the physical impossibility that the Ryder Truck bomb did the damage to the building, but that doesn\u2019t matter because if there were other bombs in the building that day we would have\u00a0heard about them<\/a>.<\/p>\n The FBI claims to have\u00a0lost the footage<\/a>\u00a0showing McVeigh (and John Doe #2) parking the truck in front of the Murrah Building that morning, but that\u2019s understandable because the Bureau has a lot of\u00a0important evidence to store<\/a>.<\/p>\n Terry Nichols\u00a0insists the FBI was involved<\/a>\u00a0in the plot but thankfully a judge has saved us the trouble of listening to him by\u00a0preventing lawyers from deposing him<\/a>.<\/p>\n There was a bomb squad truck parked across the street\u00a02 hours before the blast<\/a>, but that just shows the authorities were prepared for anything.<\/p>\n And \u201csomeone called the executive secretariat\u2019s office at the Justice Department in Washington and said the Murrah building had been bombed\u2026but this was\u00a024 minutes before the blast<\/a>.\u201d But that just shows the public was unusually vigilant that morning.<\/p>\n Also, the governor of Oklahoma\u2019s brother wrote\u00a0a book<\/a>\u00a0before the attack in which a \u201cTom McVey\u201d plots to blow up a federal building, but that\u2019s probably just a coincidence.<\/p>\n McVeigh wrote\u00a0a letter to his sister<\/a>\u00a0where he admitted to being a secret special forces operative and he complained to friends of the pain in his ass from an\u00a0Army-implanted microchip<\/a>, but that\u2019s crazy because if he didn\u2019t actually leave the Army in 1991 there would be\u00a0proof of that<\/a>.<\/p>\n This man<\/a>\u00a0never existed, and if you say otherwise you\u2019re a crazy government-hating nutjob who deserves to be locked in a cage for the rest of your life. Likewise\u00a0him<\/a>,\u00a0her<\/a>,\u00a0them<\/a>,\u00a0her<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0him<\/a>. (and\u00a0him<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0him<\/a>).<\/p>\n McVeigh was not executed on May 16, 2001 as scheduled because\u00a0the FBI withheld 1000s of documents from McVeigh\u2019s lawyers<\/a>, but that doesn\u2019t matter because the execution went ahead anyway on June 11. In a highly unusual and\u00a0secret agreement<\/a>\u00a0no autopsy was performed, one witness said he was\u00a0still breathing<\/a>\u00a0and the prison officials admitted his\u00a0hearse was a decoy<\/a>.
